The Seaswirl Striper 23 - why we chose this boat for our charters

When we started building Levante Tours, one thing was clear from the beginning: we didn’t want just any boat.

We needed something that could handle fishing seriously, stay comfortable during long days on the sea, and still feel safe and enjoyable for families, beginners, and private tours around Kvarner Bay. After a lot of research and time spent on the water, the Seaswirl Striper 23 WA OB turned out to be exactly that balance.

The first reason is simple: the boat is genuinely built for fishing. The Striper series is known for its practical fishing layout, wide cockpit space, rod holders, livewell system, fish storage, and stable walkaround design that makes moving around the boat much easier while fishing. For the type of fishing we do around Rabac and Kvarner Bay, having enough working space and stability makes a massive difference during the trip.

But at the same time, we didn’t want a boat that feels overly “hardcore” or uncomfortable for guests.

That’s where the Striper stands out. The cabin space, seating layout, smooth ride, and overall design make it perfect not only for fishing charters, but also for snorkeling trips, Explore Day Tours, swimming stops, and longer days on the water with family or friends.

Another huge reason was safety and handling.

Kvarner Bay can change conditions surprisingly quickly depending on wind and currents, especially when moving between Rabac and Cres Island. The deep-V hull design of the Seaswirl Striper gives the boat a stable and comfortable ride even when conditions become rougher offshore.

Powered by a Yamaha 225 engine, the boat also gives us the range and reliability needed for longer routes, hidden bays, fishing spots, and exploring more remote parts of the coastline.

We also equipped the boat with professional fishing electronics and gear to make every fishing trip as effective as possible. On board, we use a Rhino BMR GPS system, a Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 92, professional fishing rods, and additional equipment adapted for trolling, bottom fishing, inchiku, and other Adriatic fishing techniques.

And honestly, that flexibility is exactly why we chose it.

One day the boat is set up for trolling and bottom fishing around Kvarner Bay as a part of the Levante Fish & Bait Tour. The next day it’s cruising toward hidden beaches, snorkeling spots, and quiet coves around Cres Island as part of the Levante Explore Day Tour.

That mix of comfort, capability, safety, and fishing performance is what makes the Seaswirl Striper 23 such a good fit for Levante Tours and the type of experiences we want people to have on the Adriatic.
